Don't Choose Your Socks in the Dark

My colleague F. graciously allowed me to make an example of her: don't wear your walking shoes and your husband's socks that happen to clash with your floral cardigan AND keep them on until about 10 a.m. However, as Shannen Doughterty put it, "a true badass learns from her mistakes."

  1. oooh I know the only thing worse than seeing a poorly footed dude is seeing a ped challenged woman and our workplace, no DC, is fullllll of them. Ladies the right footwear (even transition footwear- i.e. to-from work) does a lot for you (perception of your look) even if you're married and have critters this is no excuse - in fact those women usually look the best!
If you look frumpy do you think I want to work for you - I mean if you treat yourself that way do you think that I'd think you'd be a good boss or diligent EER drafter or that anyone serious would take policy advice from you?
